Day 1: Mombasa – Mamba village
If you have children, this is a must visit for them to have ultimate fun during their holiday. Mamba Village, East Africa’s largest crocodile farm, is a must-see during your exploratory beach vacation in Mombasa, especially if you have not seen any crocodiles on safari. Each section of the estate offers a unique experience, and the most popular is the crocodile farm where these aquatic reptiles are displayed. For couples you may spend the day in the hotel or go for shopping and movies at nyali cinemax.
Day 2: Mombasa – Marine Park
Mombasa Marine National Park is the most famous of the marine protected areas due to ease of accessibility and because it’s a favorite among Mombasa snorkelers and scuba divers due to its abundant marine life, beautiful blue waters, and spectacular coral reefs. The reef plays an important role in the ocean ecosystem by providing safety and food to almost one million species of marine life. The various colors, shapes, and sizes of the coral are incredible and some of the species that you may see in the Indian Ocean are the brain coral, pavona coral, open-branched stag’s horn coral, acropora coral, and favia coral. After the day’s activities in the cool Mombasa Marine Park you can decide to relax in your room, poolside, at the beach in the evening or maybe even have a night out dancing after dinner.
Day 3: Mombasa – Mamba village – Mombasa city tour
After breakfast you have the option to spend the rest of the day enjoying the hotel or going out for a nature walk to see wildlife at Haller Park followed by Mombasa city tour and Fort Jesus discovery. Haller Park is a nature park in Bamburi, Mombasa, on the Kenyan coast. It is the transformation of a quarry wasteland into an ecological area. Haller Park holds a variety of plant and animal species which serve as a recreation spot to tourists and locals. Up to March 2007 it held the attraction of Owen and Mzee – the friendship of a hippopotamus and a tortoise.
