This is a 4-day Mount Kenya safari suitable for luxury travelers who enjoy the finer things in life. In Aberdare park you will be able to see all the big five, if you are lucky, while enjoying the paranoiac views of the great rift valley escarpments. If you are a wildlife lover you can extend your stay at Ol Pajeta conservancy, where you will get to see endangered species of rhino, as well as chimpanzees, all while enjoying the scenic views of the snowed Mt Kenya.

Day 1: Nairobi-Aberdares National Park
Leave Nairobi for Aberdares an isolated volcanic range that forms the eastern wall of the rift valley. Located between Nairobi and Thomson’s falls, the park contains wide range of landscapes, rivers and waterfalls. Moorland, bamboo forests, and rainforests are found at lower altitude. Arrive just in time for lunch at the Outspan Hotel, treetops. Later in the afternoon, drive to the dramatic wooden lodge built deep within the forest. A floodlit waterhole and saltlick in the full view of the comfortable lounge areas allows guests to watch animals at any time of the night which includes rhino, lion, elephant and buffaloes are regular visitors.
Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2: The Ark-Mount Kenya-Nanyuki
Morning Breakfast, Depart to The Mau Mau Caves at the foothills of Mt Kenya open out to a beautiful waterfall and pass-through rocks on Burguret River. Once shielded by a dense forest cover, these caves near Nanyuki are well known for their historical significance. During the Emergency period between 1952 and 1960, the Mau Mau Freedom fighters used these caves for storing supplies and as a hideout from colonial forces. Arrive at the Naromoro River Lodge and after checking in, relax and swim.

Day 3: Nanyuki Ol Pajeta Conservancy (Sweet Waters)
Have an early morning breakfast later depart to Ol Pajeta Ranch, where you will get to see animals grazing till around 10.00a.m then they go to rest in the late afternoon till late evening. It’s also the biggest chimpanzee sanctuary in the world. It’s also home to the best view of the magnificent Mount Kenya.
Meals and overnight stay at the Tented Camp.
Day 4: Nanyuki-Nyeri-Nairobi
After early morning breakfast depart to Nyeri town for full breakfast in Outspan Hotel Nyeri. Later bid farewell to Mount Kenya region as you embark on the journey back to Nairobi and also view coffee plantations on route. Arrive just in time for lunch at your hotel as you await evening transfer to the airport to catch your flight back home after the exciting trip.
